Contrarian Capital Management, LLC (“Contrarian”) was established in 1995 by Jon Bauer, Janice Stanton and Gil Tenzer and specializes in distressed investing.  Today, the firm employs 55 people across offices in Greenwich (CT), Paris (France), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Los Angeles (CA).

Prior to forming Contrarian The Partners managed funds at Oppenheimer & Co. – capturing distressed opportunities through multiple business cycles.

Contrarian is a wholly-independent, SEC registered investment adviser and Qualified Professional Asset Manager (“QPAM”).
